Dear friends of Justice & Peace Scotland,
On Saturday 2nd August, we will gather at Faslane for a Christian peace vigil in opposition to nuclear weapons. This ecumenical service of prayer, reflection, readings, and hymns will take place from 10.30am to 12 noon at the South Gate of HM Naval Base Clyde.
We are keen to have a large and visible gathering at this year’s vigil to mark 80 years since the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. To make it easier for people to attend, free transport is being provided by Justice & Peace Scotland and the Church of Scotland.
